Our grapes are grown without the use of chemical
sprays and all work in the vineyard and the cellar is done in harmony
with lunar cycles
and planetary rhythms. Our wine is made using only the natural yeasts
on the bloom of the grapes, so we don’t have to add synthetic
yeast cultures. The use of sulphur during winemaking is limited – so
hangovers are too!
Medium-bodied, with subtle spice, soft tannins and forest fruit
flavours, Domaine des Savarines is a perfect partner for any meaty,
herby, garlicky
dish, but is also easy to drink without food. Serve at 17/18°C.
Le Domaine des Savarines is owned by Rosie Kindersley and Eric
Treuille, who also own Books
for Cooks in Notting Hill, London. |
